Job summary
Contribute to the delivery of high quality and smooth running of Funds Transfer, Transaction Processing and Credit Administration Department and adherence to internal procedures and rules
Responsibilities
Process in-and outgoing daily payments including customer transactions, correspondent banking transactions and general expenses of the Bank;
Manage counterparties’ and customer’s inquires related to payments;
Handle other departments’ inquiries regarding customers’ transactions;
Assist in investigation of nostro reconciliation pending items;
Perform control of SWIFT messages (assessment of messages received and escalation at Compliance if necessary);
Perform first line of defense functions (AML/CTF and sanctions checks) for correspondent banking payments;
Manage fee payment requests from third party banks;
Participate in the activities related to systems and processes evolution driven by regulatory, audit and business requirements;
Follow-up on audit and operational risks findings, act on the proposed mitigation measures.
Your profile
University degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field;
At least 5 years of work experience in a similar role;
Understanding of funds transfer related processes;
Ability to work autonomously within assigned tasks;
Practical knowledge of cash management products / solutions;
Good communication skills;
Result oriented, can-do spirit and proactive;
Highly organized and detail oriented;
Ability to work under tight deadlines;
Teamwork spirit, punctual, discipline, self-control, innovative, positive thinking;
Customer oriented;
PC literacy in particular MS Office;
SWIFT literate;
Fluency in English (French or Russian considered advantage).
