Pre-export finance (PXF) is a facility structured to provide bank funding to producers of goods and commodities.

In such facilities funds will be advanced by a bank to producers to assist them in meeting either their working capital needs or their capital investment needs. A typical PXF facility has a tenor of between three and five years. PXF facilities are usually secured by an assignment of rights under an offtake contract and a collection account charge.
